Since 1975, ZEMEK has developed a quality range of affordable and effective dragline rigging components. Over the years, our quality dragline rigging products have been proven to outperform other cast products and work in conjunction with OEM.
With our goal to reduce capital costs and improve the lifecycle performance of mining equipment, ZEMEK recognised a need for more durable dragline rigging products. We wanted to solve the problem (and alleviate the costs) of frequently re-socketing and changing wire ropes on dragline buckets so we developed a product to do just that.
ZEMEK's unique, straight-line drag socket doubles the life of drag wire ropes in all operating environments, providing a quick way to remove wedges and pins while maintaining safety standards. It also reduces weight, increases the lifespan and reliability of components, and significantly lowers downtime costs.
The straight pull drag socket is part of ZEMEK's extensive range of cast and fabricated rigging components, which includes:
